Everything!!!! The one thing that really sets Elvis apart from other celebrities/entertainers/famous people was the fact that despite his fame and wealth, he still remained humble. No matter how famous he became, he ultimately was the same person deep down inside--he loved his family, he loved his fans, he loved his country, etc. I wish more celebrities today would follow Elvis' example.

"Hey, Elvis! Why did you STOP wearing CAPES?!?!?!?"

My name is Fr. Todd Bragg (aka Dutch). I am a life-long Elvis fan from Indiana. I have always been a big fan of Elvis. He is my favorite singer but I also like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Johnny Cash, etc. among others. I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, home of Elvis' last ever concert at Market Square Arena in downtown Indianapolis. MSA has since been torn down but at least they have placed a marker there to commemorate Elvis' last concert.

I am a big Elvis Tribute Artist fan! I love going to ETA shows as often as I can. My favorite ETA is Doug Church but I am also a big fan of: Tim Dudley; Robert Washington; Irv Cass; Quentin Flagg; and many others! I love going to the Elvis FANtasy Fest every October in Portage, Indiana. It is a blast every year with great ETA's; live music; other Elvis fans; Elvis merchandise for sale; etc.

I am married to my beautiful wife Frances. I keep busy with work; church; home; family; etc; etc; In other words, I am always on the go!!! LOL! I love listening to Elvis, and attending Moose Lodge activities during my "free time" (what little "free time" I have!!!!)

I am an Anglican priest and the pastor of St Margaret Anglican Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Hi Todd:

I just have to say that you don't know what you're missing by not getting comfortable and turning off the lights and turning up Elvis and feeling the music.  It's not really like being there but it's pretty cool.

Hi Todd:

I don't know how interested you are in different versions of songs but.... Amazon.com has some new "budget"  cd releases .  They are (I think) $6.  A freind of mine told me about them.  The AN EVENING PRAYER has a different and really laid back version of AMAZING GRACE.  It's a little different than the ones we've previously heard on the HE TOUCHED ME album or the WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES box set.  It seems (to me) more of a rehearsal version.  There isn't any talking or anything but it's less "produced" sounding.  That's what I think any way.  I thought you might check it out.  The cd discription doesn't say anything about it being outtakes or anything new but I think this  song is.

Hi Todd!  I'm just popping in to visit some of my Elvis friends.  I hear you guys had quite a little "party" on his birthday- cake and making up songs.  It sounded like fun.  I was able to get a couple of FTD's while in Memphis.  I got the JUNGLE ROOM SESSIONS.  I thought it was appropriate to purchase it while visiting Graceland.  I get so confused about all of the different versions of concerts from 1970 (basiclly the TTWII shows) in Vegas.  They have soooo many.  I love that year.  I want the very best show that was recorded from that summer.  I just can't figure out what it is.  Have you ever heard of the Elvis Information Network?  It's an Austrailian site.  They seem to know what they're talking about.  They do very in depth reviews.  I've tried reading what they have to say about the shows from what I can tell there is a recording of the midnight show of August 12th that they say is superb but I can't figure out what the name of the cd is.  I'm sorry if I"ve gone on about all of this before.   So I guess I'm wondering if you have an opinion about what you consider the best recording.

Have a great week -stay warm!
